For my first official Journal entry I've decided to archive some old poetry. Here are a few of the computational poems I've created using cyphers. Here is an example using a very standard cypher The Cypher 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 a b c d e f g h I J k l m n o p q r s t u v w x y z 1 + 81917715 – 7652 = 46 4+6 = 10 = 1 A Harappan – Poet 9471351 + 1 + 713167 = 56 5+6 = 11 = 2 impales a galaxy 154 +919151 +77914941 = 78 7+ 8 = 15 = 6 and raises Pyramids. Three Lines + Three words on each line = 9 1 + 2 + 6 = 9 Many add up similarly but with different cyphers based off the order of letters in various sections of the book SF:59 "The years greatest Science Fiction and Fantasy" Copyright 1959 3 - Untitled A Harappan - Poet impales a galaxy and raises Pyramids. 3 transmutations of mind Alchemists fear urns of un-weighable elements and wandering ideologues. 10 growing concerns Help Two words. Three small words I opened a box Two lines. on three lines. with 4 gnawing teeth on and on. a madness i fear more surely then death. 6 Glaucus Atlanticus and a Mantis Shrimp I cast nets to pull elusive creatures from the sea and tame my beastly bounties with daylight, scale and a name. 4ward the end of I am the slave trapped in this mind that emulates and praises the architects of time. I "am" I "am" the contraction of energies. with rule sets applied, I judge heaven from earth. 3 SOuLs Wavy star particles decode Melodic Harmonies of planet song. why favor shallow waters I fear this ocean. Cold unblinking creatures lurk beneath barriers of light waiting to consume me. 3 shadows 1 light Oh lovely shadow I see you surrounded by Light. 4 Saints and Grand places Between canyon and mountain exists peacefully flat space. Contrasted, depths and heights become grand and saintly. 3 deep breaths Oh.. sad breath I let out release this pain 1 asphyxiate apologizes 2 flame In quiet observation, I measured reality enlightened by flames. What 1 + 1 + 1 destroys A uniqueness lost by repetition can never be recovered. EMBII
